Alister has been writing songs since he first learnt how to play the piano at age 7. Early on Alister was surrounded by the music of The Beatles, The Monkees, Bread, Streophonics and The Beach Boys to name a few thanks to his dad's love of music, who was also a musician when he was younger. His guitar and piano in the house grabbing Alister's interest. As well as a love for alternative rock, Alister was also an avid listener of classical music from a young age, this sparked a love for multiple genres and inspired vastly different styles of writing througout his trajectory. Having never stopped writing music since a child, Alister's backlog of songs span the 100's, though never properly releasing them. This all changed in 2024 when spurred by an onslaught of nagging friends and a new found creative drive to self-produce as much as possible to share all of these songs that have been otherwise never heard. Having only learnt basic music theory, he creates completely with improvisation.
