Boy God is comprised of musicians — okay, just one lone and lonely musician — forged in the same Boston musical miasma that brought the world bands like the Pixies, Mission of Burma, Aerosmith, the Cars and, of course, New Kids on the Block. A veteran of way too many punk, New Wave and grunge bands, Boy God draws inspiration from multiple musical genres and styles — Bitches Brew era Miles Davis, Velvet Underground art-rock, ‘60s psychedelia, ’70s cock rock, ‘80s New Wave, ‘90s grunge and the digital palette of the 21st century. From Hendrix to punk, Bowie to Prince, Radiohead to Aphex Twin and Oneohtrix Point Never, Boy God strives to take the sounds of rock’s past and reimagine, twist, contort and tickle them into new shapes and sonics for today's and tomorrow’s most discriminating musicophiles.
