Nashville

A Carolina girl moved to Nashville 21 years ago because she married a Nashville native. At age 48, she picked up a guitar, a Nashville staple, and started writing songs. Her motivation was her students. Andrea is a teacher, curriculum developer, and author of "What It Means to Be a Christian" and "I'm a Christian-Now What?" (2015). She recently decided to write gospel music in hopes of further helping her students. The Greenville, SC girl comes out in her other songs as she remembers the people used to grow her in those formative secondary years of life. Andrea continues to teach in Nashville and hopes her music ministers to past and current students and to past friendships that still make her smile.
