Anisa Farah, also known as social media persona “Badman Lisa”, emerged on the music scene in November 2020 with boisterous debut single “Yalla”. Having grown up a stone’s throw away from the iconic Wembley Stadium & Arena, Anisa’s ambitions were focused on making it out. Growing up, surrounded by the heights of the 00s R&B era, “from Destiny’s Child to the 50 Cents, Rihanna & movies such as High School Musical, Cheetah Girls etc.”, Anisa was immersed by artists that she would have the opportunities to recite in her primary school performances. Anisa found a salve in being a “entertainer” and comfortable commanding the stage with her renditions. Not being able to shift her musical bug, Anisa would continue to pour her free time to writing “music and raps”.
