Coventry

Nick Knibb aka the archbishop is a spoken word artist and singer from Coventry. He bases his poetry mostly on his youth and upbringing and membership of many bands since the 1970s. He's honoured to be the Poet in Residence at Coventry Music Museum where he shares his love for local music and performance. Over the years his one man shows 'Never Mind the Horlicks', Coventry the Specials and Me, Love Songs 1974 and others have graced the stages of theatres, pubs, cars, boxing rings and marquee tents all around the Midlands and London. His poetry has been commissioned and played by BBC local radio as well as many other stations throughout the UK. This first collection 'The Anorak Kid and other stories' contains elements of his varied styles.
