Arón Speer is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist who grew up in the diy punk scene of San Diego before moving to Long Beach, California in his late teens. Bouncing around from show to show, playing bass and yelling in his old band Struckout, he eventually began the laborious process of learning how to write songs by himself. Influenced by alternative dance, indie, hip hop, disco, house, and punk rock, his music has a varied and eclectic energy, while presenting the listener with lyrics that decry the perils of late capitalism and platonic heartbreak.
