Ashy Akakpo is a 21-year-old Gospel and Neo-soul influenced singer/songwriter from North-West London. She started her journey in music in 2019. Although she had always been singing, since from a very young age, it was only in 2019 she realised God wanted her to use her singing as a ministering tool for his glory and stop holding it to herself. Her singing style is quite soulful. Her vocal ability is powerful, dynamic, rich and similar to Mahalia Jackson, Alicia Keys and Tramaine Hawkins. In February of 2020, Ashy released her debut single “Without Condition” and was nominated for the March UK Christian Charts. She has big plans concerning her music.
