https://groovus.hu/about-us/ The intention of GROOVUS band mostly come under genre Fusion, Smooth-Jazz, Jazz-Funk can be featured by the slogen “Energy, Dinamism, Versatility”. Compositions of the band characterised by melodic themes and groovy rhythms varied as well with energic improvisations. Some of the compositons were qulified to the Jazzy 90.9 radio (most popular Hungarian smooth jazz radio) finals in three consecutive years (Pepe GR, Jump-Off, Hip-Bop). The music of the band is inspired by such musitions as Yellow Jackets, Spyro Gyra, Mike Stern, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, Eric Marienthal, Bob Berg. Some compositions of Lee Ritenour and Mike Stern were adopted as well in the repertoir which basicly consist of our own compositions.
