Talon Bazille Ducheneaux is a rap artist and poet from the Crow Creek Dakota and Cheyenne River Lakhota tribes in South Dakota. An alum of the University of Pennsylvania, Bazille’s work largely stems from an amalgamation of experiences and reflections that influence his sound. Bazille is also the head of Wonahun Was’te’ Studios (translating to “Good, healing sound of music” - a name gifted by Ciye’ General ThunderHawk), which was supported/funded in 2019 by First People’s Fund through the Cultural Capital Fellowship.
