Gabbo is the solo project of nonbinary DC resident and outsider pop creative Gab Franks. Known for recording music as a teen under the moniker Frankie Goes on a Walk, and as part of Baltimore lunar rock band Moon By Moon, Gabbo’s multi-genre discography experiments with elements of pop, folk and emo. Their debut full-length LP, Corn, is set to release in early 2023, and combines acoustic folk stylings with a psychedelic/electronic mixing approach, describing it “like if 'Love is Overtaking Me' by Arthur Russell and 'Tomboy' by Panda Bear had a baby.”
