Sunderland

Berry Hagman is a raw and unfiltered solo folk artist using an acoustic guitar, suitcase stompbox and harmonica to blend the heart of folk music with the rebellious edge of punk. Berry creates songs that are lyrically driven and melodically captivating and tends to look inwards to his own struggles with identity and self confidence. He constantly reinvents himself to fit the unreachable narrative of other people's expectations, and in doing so is forever weaving through life to find his way in the world. From this, Berry magnificently captures the true beauty of imperfection which is personified through honest lyrics and memorable hooks whilst balancing just enough humour, sarcasm and self deprecation to find some fun within the chaos.
