Donegal

Forged in the heat of crowded pubs and late-night sessions, The Blackthorn Oath deliver modern Irish folk rock with grit, heart, and a rebel’s soul. Blending driving acoustic guitars, soaring fiddle, thunderous rhythms, and raw, sing-it-till-your-voice-gives-out vocals, the band crafts anthems built for raised pints and packed floors. Rooted in Celtic tradition but powered by rock energy, their sound draws from the storytelling of classic Irish folk and the punch of contemporary folk punk. Every song is a call to stand together — for brotherhood, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit that carries you through the storm. Whether on a small pub stage or a festival crowd, The Blackthorn Oath bring songs made to be sung loud, felt deep, and carried long after last call.
