Born in New York City, I started playing music at 13. Wrote my first song at 15. Released a single in Europe called Laughing Boy on the Riviera label in 1965. I was forced to resume school the same year, but I kept writing songs and singing. I released one more single called Christmas In My Pants in England in 1968 which was promptly banned. In the 70s I formed a band called Filthy Rich, recorded a bunch of stuff that never saw the light of day. I got married, had two kids. Got divorced, got custody and moved out of the city for good. Worked lots of jobs, including news reporter. I was always reading and always writing. Many of my songs deal with socio-political themes. The second half of Human Blues delves deep into that. The first half is about personal relationships. In the mid 2000's I started performing again and with the help of the many talented musical artists I met during that time, I recorded these songs. I hope you like them.
