Bram Stadhouders (1987, Netherlands) is a guitarist and composer whose work moves between improvisation, ambient textures, electronics and classical music. He has performed over 800 concerts in more than 60 countries, developing a distinctive voice that connects experimentation with melodic clarity. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists such as Nils Petter Molvær, Jim Black and ensembles including Netherlands Chamber Choir. His projects range from immersive surround-sound concepts to cross-genre collaborations that explore the boundaries of acoustic and electronic sound.
Under the name braem, Stadhouders turns towards a more intimate language centred on the classical guitar. In these neo-classical works, space, repetition and subtle harmonic movement form the core, creating music that is both restrained and emotionally direct. Together, his work reflects an ongoing search for depth, texture and resonance across genres.
