Cade Slayden has been a musician all his life. He came from a musical family and began playing guitar when he was just five years old. At first, Cade was learning classical guitar but always loved folk and bluegrass (which his family played) as well... but he did not get into it himself until later in his life. His freshman year of high school he began branching out by joining the schools jazz band. From there he learned a lot about chord composition and the meaningfulness of the "space between the notes". A year later is when he really started getting into folk and bluegrass music. Some of his biggest inspirations would be the world renowned flat-picking guitarist "billy strings" and the folk duo "mandolin orange". At age 17, Cade's most well known for his folk music, as well as still keeping up with classical, and jazz on the side.

Absolutely love this song and the message behind it, so I decided to do a cover on it. It features my mom on cello, hope ya'll like it!more
