Harrison Orchard, better known by his stage name of Cape, is a DJ/Producer coming from Melbourne, Australia. Breaking out with his first big club residency in 2022 at the Kooroora Hotel in Mt Buller, Cape was often the face the venue night after night, consistently serving critically hot amounts of tunes. Being the only late-night venue on the mountain, the vast variety of music played ranged all the way from current pop songs, 80’s and 90’s disco, all the way through to the current day dance, trance, techno and house bangers we all know and love. The task of playing for a venue that consistently requires different genres has shaped the way Cape plays, freely building sets to flow between genres, and being able to change the vibe of the venue on a whim. This kind of genre-jumping has also shaped the way Cape goes about creating his music, not afraid to mix sounds, challenge ideas, or break rules in the process.
