David Gilbert Foster is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Horse Cave, Kentucky. In 2022, David released a 9 song cd of his original songs. David has also released cds with his celtic band, Barrenhart and the progressive bluegrass group Soulgrass. David's back story is unique. He is the President of the American Cave Conservation Association and was responsible for the environmental restoration of Hidden River Cave, formerly one of the most polluted caves in the world. In addition to writing and recording original music, David has devoted much of his life to protecting some of the most fragile and threatened natural caverns in America.
