With influences from Umi, The Marías, Amy Winehouse and many others, CHANDNI are a 5 piece R&B/ Soul band, originating from Birmingham, England. Mixed with local and international talent, lead singer Djeny hails from Portugal, and she is the heart and soul of the band. Guitarist, Harrison, from Birmingham, uses his lush chords to create smooth progressions. Bassist, Lamar uses his 'feel' to drive the band, followed by keyboardist, Michael who delivers emotion through his scintillating melodies. Finally, Lewis adds to the band with his Jazz-influenced grooves, locking in perfectly with the group. As a group CHANDNI hope to convey truthful emotions through their music, inspiring confidence and bringing a bright aura to those around them.
