Chapel 85 is an independent rap duo formed by Nash Jones of New York and Charles Brantley of Georgia. The two first started making music together in early 2024 when they formed the band Feeding Fish Fish, with Nash on bass and Charlie on guitar.
As their musical interests evolved, they shifted from playing in a band to producing their own beats and writing rap music. Inspired by artists like Nirvana, $uicideboy$, ComeHelpGlo, and Lil Peep, Chapel 85 blends elements of rock, melodic rap, and underground hip-hop into their own sound.
What started as two friends making music for fun has grown into a passion for creating original songs from the ground up, writing, producing, and experimenting with new sounds along the way.
