"As a native Brazilian from the city of Itabuna in the South of Bahia, and residing in the U.K. since 1996, I have devoted my career to celebrating and promoting Brazilian culture, with a special focus on traditional rhythms. Over the years, I have connected with diverse audiences through performances, workshops, festivals, school projects, and team-building activities, fostering a deeper appreciation for Brazil's rich cultural heritage."
My work has taken me to prestigious venues and events, including The Barbican Centre, Womad, Tribe of Doris, Medicine Festival, Drum Camp,, Shambala, Diaspora Festival, Kendal Calling, The Fish Quays Festival, and the Edinburgh Festival, Whitby Festival, Ace Festival, Brit Awards, MOBO Awards to name just a few.
