Cole Zeiss moved to the USA from Northern Italy in 2004. He lives in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area, between Jaco Pastorius' Oakland Park and Criteria Studios, where Layla, Rumours, and Hotel California were recorded — a location that mirrors his musical influences.
His influences span jazz fusion, SF psychedelia, Southern rock, the European prog rock of Premiata Forneria Marconi, ELP, Aphrodite's Child, and more — basically, anything that blends baroque or medieval with rock-jazz.
Cole writes the songs — lyrics and music — and plays AI as a single musical instrument, inspired by the way Brian Wilson used to play the Wrecking Crew and the studio. He has been developing two intertwined musical projects:
People of the Sea — Contemporary Christian Rock. Making Christian rock rich in content again, the way it used to be in the early seventies, when it was genuine and free.
The Analog Report — Non-Duality Rock for Cultural Creatives. rooted in the work of Dr. David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.
