before I started making this type of music, I was really more of a punk/metal guy, and I began to notice that every time I sat down and played, I would just do some variation on the same three riffs. This goes against all my musical morals, and I knew that I had to make a change. Luckily for me, right as I was going through my lil crisis, my friend was starting work on a really cool indie game, and he wanted me to compose it's soundtrack. It was an amazing and odd experience to be forced out of my comfort zone, and what came out of it was this weird, chill, synthy, timid trap nonsense. It really broadened my horizons, and I discovered incredible composers and artists and even genres that I never would have come across otherwise. Unfortunately, my friend couldn't complete the game, but the experience I had creating the background music inspired me to begin releasing it.
