CHDLSS is the music project of painter Chad Kendall. The name, a stripped down version of “Chadless,” began as a visual aesthetic but became tied to the idea of removing ego and self from the work. Built through self-taught production and experimentation, the music moves between dream pop, lo-fi, and atmospheric electronic sound, focusing more on texture, instinct, and mood than traditional songwriting or polish.
