Before there were songs, there was the workshop.
Dane Flint is the music alias of a Danish maker and smith by instinct, the kind of person who has always needed to build a thing with his own hands to understand it. The name says it plainly: a Dane, and the flint that throws the spark. He came up between two sounds he refused to choose between, the raw, straight-talking world of Danish rap and the dark, blue-collar ache of Nordic rock, and his music is the room where they finally meet.
He writes the way a smith works: in the dark, by hand, hammering something heavy until one stubborn ember refuses to go out. The voice is unpolished on purpose, equal parts clenched fist and open wound, because he cares more about what is true than what is clean.
Dane Flint is not a face on a cover. He is the fire, the voice, and whatever is still standing when the noise dies down.
