Daniel Slabotsky, stage name dannySLAB, isKansas City native with a vast appreciation for art and music in many forms. Growing up listening to many great soul artists with his father, true music appreciation began when given a guitar on his 13th birthday. Daniel developed his skills and connected with a band desperately needing a drummer. Daniel began focusing on the percussion element of music creation. In 2000, he recorded an EP with the band A Million Lightyears. While expanding his musical acumen, he developed a love for abstract art with a fondness for acrylics and felt tips. In 2020, Daniel created the original theme song and spent 5 months as the variety act on the Webcast 'Top Shelf with Big V and Zack'. In December 2020, Daniel began Dialectic Media Group to help encourage new artists and showcase his own talents.
