D.A.P. (Dark Aries Project) is an experimental solo metal project blending post-metal and post-rock with influences from various other genres, including electronic music, hip hop, pop, synthwave, industrial, and extreme metal, enriched with horror elements. The project emerged in 2017 but gained visibility primarily from 2020 onward. Created by the former guitarist of Nænia and Varganath, and session musician for Walls Of Ashes, the project has completed several EPs and albums, two of which have achieved modest success so far.
