Residing out of Tampa, Florida, DeemZoo brings more than twenty years of composing to the bass music world. He came up writing sheet music for brass ensembles long before he ever touched a DAW, and that arrangement background shows up in everything he makes today. His catalog runs the full spread, from his heaviest dubstep and drum and bass to his slowest psy-dub and downtempo work, and he moves between those worlds without losing the thread. That thread is his sound design. DeemZoo engineers his sounds from mother nature and her creatures, so listen close and you will catch the chirps, croaks, and roars living inside the low end. He has released on Gravitas Recordings, The Untz, and Psychocybin Recordings; remixed Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Doja Cat; and played Tipper and Friends at The Gorge. Infrasound, Sound Haven, and Astronox. He’s a husband, a new father, and the mind behind the ever-evolving psychedelic zoo.
