Derek Mount is an American songwriter/instrumentalist with an extensive portfolio. Derek has co-written 8 #1 hits and 15 top-10 Billboard songs. Releasing material as Club Danger (alternative), Brique a Braq (instrumental), and Vyceroy (pop), his songs have been in feature films (Disney, NBCUniversal), commercials (Nokia, Target), TV (DNC, MTV), retail (Journey's, Forever XXI), sports (ESPN, WWE), corporate projects (Nike, Google), video games (Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Rock Band) etc. Mount performed 12 years as guitarist for the electro-rock band Family Force 5: thousands of shows worldwide (Sonisphere, Bamboozle, Warped Tour); several hundred thousand albums sold; +40 million YouTube views; press (Rolling Stone, Billboard, Spin, Pollstar).
