Recording artiste Don Scrue aka Laawd Gad is a multitalented recording artiste and songwriter. Born Michael Golding he is the epitome of talent and dexterity and has built a solid foundation for himself over the years as a high octane performer who is a force to be reckoned with. Most notably, Don Scrue has been recognized for his new refreshing approach to the genre, of dancehall and reggae both musically and visually. Originally from Crofts Hill, Clarendon, Don Scrue migrated to Brooklyn NY in 2003 where he currently resides. He started his high school education at the Edwin Allen High school and then continued at the Erasmus Hall Campus when he moved to the US. Like many before him, his journey in music began in school; he vividly remembers clashing with his classmates in musical battles, beating his desk and dejaying other artistes’ songs.
