DOT the Hitman, is a rapper, song writer, sound engineer and producer from Harlem, NY. DOT’s love for music began at age nine, when he witnessed a cypher with Tupac. This was the catalyst that led him to becoming the artist he is today. Other musical influences that contribute to his sound include Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Buju Banton, and Bone Thugz N Harmony. Much like Tupac, he utilizes music as a tool to reach and influence the masses. His overarching theme and message in the music is to motivate and inspire people to “get up and get it done.” DOT envisions his music as being a timeless representation of the ongoing struggles of black people in America.
