Cape Town

DJ Double Decker is a South African Drum & Bass DJ and producer with roots in the late 1990s underground scene. Known for dark, aggressive funk, rolling basslines, and tightly controlled technical percussion, his work is built to move dancefloors rather than chase trends or recognition. With experience ranging from underground venues to high-profile stages alongside artists such as Aphrodite and Ready-D, and a past mix featured on 5FM, Double Decker has remained committed to the culture and progression of Drum & Bass. He has held residencies at respected venues and festivals, contributed to international online collaborations, and continues to explore modern streaming and digital platforms. This channel focuses primarily on original music releases, supported by selected DJ sets that reflect the sound, energy, and philosophy behind the productions. It represents an artist driven by the music, the crowd, and the longevity of the Drum & Bass movement — not by fame.
