Dré Benjie is an independent artist based in Ga. His love for music started at a young age. While in middle school, he began making music with his cousin and uncle before investing full time into athletics. In high school He was a captain of his high school wrestling and soccer team as well as multiple school clubs, taking focus away from creating music. After graduating from high school, Benjie joined the Marine Corps furthering his hiatus from music. In 2019 after an early retirement from the Corps, Benjie was reintroduced to making music, releasing his first single “My Life”. With the belief that music is more of a necessity than a love to many people who lack ways to vent, he uses his voice to speak on emotions and conditions he faced encouraging people who listen to relate and overcome with concepts such as self-esteem, life's crucibles, relationships, and God. As time continues so does his artistry & growth.
