Introducing Duane "DWhit" Whitley the writer, director and producer of the powerful hip hop musical production "Ghetto Chronicles". DWhit is well respected in the music industry first as a dance choreographer touring the world with platinum artists such a Joe, Britney Spears, Usher, Keith Sweat and Deborah Cox to name a few. He wrote and produced the powerful and thought provoking hip hop musical revue "Ghetto Chronicles" in early 2006 where it received its' first two sold out shows. The show went on to tour to many different high schools and universities as well as gained an Audelco Award nomination for "best new musical" an a PlayAwards nomination for "musical of the year". After a ten year hiatus, Ghetto Chronicles returned in June 2019 to off broadway audiences and sold out 5 shows in a row until the covid pandemic shut down production. The soundtrack is what came out of this ongoing pandemic.
