"Fade Away" is a song about the conflicting interest that I have experienced as I've continued to grow and come into myself as a person. Most of my life has been a modest, almost sheltered experience — trying my best to live life as a "Good Boy". But as I began to gain new experiences, develop new interests, and realize my potential, I've found myself pushing against those ideals and live with more of an edge — "Bad Boy".
