Ate Up are four heavy music lifers from St. Louis dragging the best of 90s and 00s hardcore, crust, crossover, death metal and d-beat into the back half of the 2020s — dark, aggressive, and somehow a good time. Their songs tap the vein of collective class consciousness: tyranny, endless war, and a weaponized government waging chemical, economic and psychic warfare on its own people. Add a hint of nu-metal excess, rock and roll attitude and pro wrestling kayfabe, and you've got the infectiously fun soundtrack to the spiraling decline of an already ate up world.
