Mandolin Enthusiast: Eddie's journey with the mandolin began in 2002 after being inspired by stellar performances at the first Bonnaroo music festival by artists like Ronnie McCoury, Chris Thile, Jeff Austin, and Michael Kang. This led him to acquire his first Johnson mandolin. Musical Education: His passion for music led him to Joyce Adams, the first chair of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra, who taught Eddie how to read music and soon had him playing alongside the orchestra. Bluegrass Discovery: Eddie's path in music took an exciting turn when he discovered the Watermelon Park Music Festival and Delfest, as well as the Delfest Academy, where he fell in love with the soulful rhythms of bluegrass.
