London

Emira fuses the haunting atmospheres of trip-hop with the raw energy of rock, making for an intricate tapestry both nuanced and powerful. As well as drawing influence from the Turkish music of her childhood, she has been inspired by artists such as Portishead, Massive Attack and Led Zeppelin, and through her experimental approach, creates a distinctive sound as vivid as her own journey in London. It's a journey to heal and a search of home.
