Vitoria-Gasteiz

erz (stylized in lowercase) is the moniker of Erlantz Lezana, a 24 year old singer-songwriter from Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain). He started taking piano lessons at age 9 but quickly got bored of it and quit to learn on his own terms. He also wrote his first song when he was 14 on an attempt to find a new hobby he could focus on, and after plenty of years trying to find his sound, he became somewhat of a pop songwriter with left-field sensibilities inspired by acts such as early Charli XCX, Blood Orange or Oklou. erz is gearing to begin his music efforts in 2025 with the release of his first self-written and self-produced EP, and its accompanying visuals and artistic direction all made by himself with the help of some of his closest friends. The first offering, "ghost", is a downtempo ballad full of warm synths, haunting drums and personal lyrics that reach its climax right before a distorted guitar solo takes over the track.
