Guatemalan born and well established in Quebec since 1983, Federico (known as Walter Rivera) has been well known in the artistic world for many years as both a professional dancer and choreographer. He is now coming back in full force as a solo artist with the fusion of both funk and pop. Federico has a unique and magical musical style, creating his songs in both French and Spanish. Federico’s performances will always be memorable which is not surprising looking back at his past experiences. He is well known in Montreal where he started out as a dancer and where he had the chance to perform with amazing artists such as Céline Dion. Furthermore, he spent a few years in Queens, New York to perfect both his street jazz and hip hop styles. He became a well known teacher and choreographer which allowed him to participate in several large-scale projects such as Apollo and Beat of the Street, at Place Des Arts.
