FILOS AMIGO is a Filipino hip hop/R&B trio from Pasay City, Philippines. They were formerly known as Henyong Makata before rebranding as Filos Amigo in early 2023. The group consists of Filipino artists Lucky, S.Y.D., and LA Nerdy. The term "Filo" is a slang term for Filipinos in other countries, similar to the word "Pinoy". "Amigo" means friend in English. It refers to the members' friendship since childhood, which evolved into a recognized hip hop/R&B collective. The group aims to promote and to represent Filipino music in the global music scene. Their music is a blend of traditional Filipino music and modern hip-hop and R&B beats.
