Leap, County Cork, Ireland

Born in Sligo, Ireland, my professional music career took off in the 1970s on signing with GTO records in London. To my knowledge, no material was released with GTO, and I was subsequently signed to various independent record labels, which led to the release of an album, "FERGUS" in the UK and Ireland, and various single releases, some of which reached the lower charts in the UK. The single, "Hello" represented Ireland in a programme, International Pop Jury. I was also fortunate in receiving 2 major awards in the Cavan international Song Contest. I was invited to compose the music and lyrics for a Musical in the mid-90s, and this led to the Musical, "QUILL {The Hand of Shakespeare}" being staged by London College of Music in 2013.
