In late 2019, a chance pairing in Austin’s long running Punk Rock Lottery brought together singer Gabe Dyson (audiostrobelight) and guitarist Travis Davis (My Life Story). Lottery judge and drummer Tim Lupa (The Triple Scorpio) approached the duo with bassist Greg McDonald (Stabba) and thus Fortune Hearts was born.
Fortune Hearts spent the duration of the 2020 Pandemic writing and producing Pop-Punk and Alternative Rock in the vein of Thrice, Bayside and The Wonder Years.
