Who I am doesn’t matter, but what I’ve learned might… This is a sample album I made as an experiment that may or may not be completely unlistenable for most people. It resulted in 27 tracks. The experiment criteria was this; pick a sample pad based on name only (either a key or a description), do NOT listen to any of the pads in the selected pack, press record, fuck around, stop the recording, resulting track must now be used, pick samples that fit the vibe, attempt to cut samples into the music to hopefully make even the most heinous tracks bearable, let the samples dictate the overall message of the song, do NOT under any circumstances change the arrangement of the blind one take of each track. This kind of served as a healthier way of digesting the outlandish amount of content I consume, and also a way to remind myself of the cornerstones of what I believe and why. Whether it reaches any intended purpose is neither here nor there but either way, hope you enjoy ✨
