Formed in the middle of the pandemic, godsin is a band based in V.N. de Famalicão (Bairro), although all its members come from other places, Santo Tirso, Guimarães, Natal (Brazil) and Bucaramanga (Colombia). Rui Cardoso (ex. Wanted), Xola (ex. Wanted/DRKNSS), started the project in the summer of 2020 and later joined by Enzo Rodrigues and Alj Romero (ex. Ainur, ADS, Paradigma). The band identifies with melodic and classic thrash metal, but with many influences from more current sounds that are not always part of the “metal” scene. Lyrically, we try to spread a message of social criticism, concern for the degradation of the planet, the hypocrisy of society and its leaders on many issues that are increasingly important to humanity, such as racism, xenophobia, religious fanaticism, wars, etc.
