I have been a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, since middle school at the latest, and for as long as I have followed Him, I have felt called to use my musical abilities for the Church. Up until very recently, I thought that was exclusively in the formal capacity of 'Church Worship Pastor/Director/Leader'. Mostly singing worship music, historic and modern, with the people of God on Sundays. It has been, and continues to be, one of my deepest joys and privileges. However, in the last two years, for the first time in my thirty-something years, the Lord has given me a few songs of my own. I don't know exactly where there final home, or ultimate purpose will be, but they're here, and I feel called to share them. They were written to give a voice to the pain and angst of those darker and harder experiences in the christian life, while offering Gospel Hope without using cliched, cookie-cutter, or trite language. I hope you enjoy them.
