Gregg began his music career as a drummer working the local circuit in Wilmington, Delaware. He joined a popular local band, The Bees, which included Benny Preston (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epfGYLUURdQ), Bob Henegar, and Bob Carryer. It was Bob Carryer, a graduate from the Berklee College of Music, who introduced Gregg to songwriting and collaborating in a variety of musical styles and genres. Gregg performed his own songs at local venues in Wilmington, Delaware using his pseudonym, Allen James. He met veteran bass player and Blues vocalist, Jimmy Pritchard (https://jimmypritchard.com/), who at the time was organizing and managing a singer/songwriter venue at The David Finney Inn in New Castle. Gregg became a regular at the David Finney and was invited to appear on the popular Cable TV spot, The Tim Qualls Show, where he performed his Blues/Rock song, Land of the Free. Gregg’s compositions draw from many genres, including Easy Listening, Rock, Indie Rock, Jazz, Blues, etc
