An independent artist Robert Johnston began making music under the name of Grounding Boundaries since 2023. Initially focused on electronic dance music, Robert began his musical journey with a set of turntables during the 90’s dance scene that lead the way to the synthesiser. Robert later jammed as a drummer plugging songs such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Neil Young & David Bowie. Having moved abroad, life happened but his passion for music remained. In 2014 whilst visiting a music shop Robert became inspired to start creating music again.
In 2020 Robert began a spiritual journey that lead the way to meditate with relaxation music, that later progressed to an idea of creating a chilled electronic sound by mixing his passion for music, spirituality and his life experiences that merged into one that gave birth to Grounding Boundaries. Welcome to his journey & welcome to Grounding Boundaries.
