Guido Scope is a Dutch singer/songwriter/guitarist. He plays vocal music with beautiful jazz harmonies, rhythms from all over the world and always room for improvisation and great solos. Guido started playing guitar at age 9. He started out playing many styles, but got heavily influenced by jazz at age 15 and soon performed in several jazz bands. After moving to the Amsterdam area he played with many Brazilian musicians in the music scene there and he specialized in bossa nova and samba. During a summer in Ghana he got interested in the rhythms of afro beat and pop. His music now is a fine blend of jazz, blues, pop, rock, bossa nova and afro pop.
