Jill Sissel is an award winning songwriter and has been writing and performing her acclaimed Americana/ Blues music in the Nashville area for more than 20 years. Jill leads her band projects, and has played as a side musician for other Nashville artists. Originally from Midvale, Utah, Jill moved to Music City with an album under her belt in 1998 and hasn't stopped looking ahead for what's next! During the pandemic Jill worked on a music video called, "Re-Sister" with director Val Whitmcomb and that video has had two Official Selections from Film Festivals NewFest and Cinema Systers.
In 2020, the album Haunted Highway (producer Liz Ficalora), won the award for BEST AMERICANA ALBUM by JPFolks. Two other songs finished as top finalists.
In 2018, Jill released the album Forever Free. The first single, The Tennessee Farmer, played a big part in the documentary film The Blueberry Farmer (Tepper Creek Productions), as the theme song. Jill's music was featured
