Sam Brown is a singer-songwriter from Ontario, Canada. Sam grew up surrounded by Americana, folk, and country music, and as he grew up became increasingly enamored by their sounds. Inspired by the likes of Johnny Cash, and Bruce Springsteen, and later Zach Bryan and Tom Petty, he began to write his own songs at a young age, and at the end of high school chose to pursue music as a career. Since his decision, he has attended Seneca’s independent songwriting and performance program, begun recording a series of singles, and has begun playing performances from Toronto to Tillsonburg. Sam’s style ranges from warm nostalgic songs of love, family, and childhood, to colder darker ones of regret, faith, mortality and everything in between. A blend between modern-folk, country and classic rock, these songs feature comforting arrangements including instruments such as guitar, harmonica, piano, bass, and drums.
